How Do I Begin Again

God_Refrig_Magnet

How do I begin again after years of anxiety and depression,
How do I begin again after heartache and pain,
How do I begin again after raising my children as a single parent with sacrifices the best way I knew how and they act ungrateful,
How do I begin again after career disappointments,
How do I begin again after betrayal from family,
How do I begin again when I feel unsuccessful and hopeless,
How do I begin again after abusive relationships,
How do I begin again after my love one is no longer with me,
How do I begin again when I've made some bad decisions and wrong choices and feel trapped by my failures of life,
How do I begin again when the doctor gives me a bad report,
How do I begin again when I feel so all alone,
How do I begin again when I'm broke, busted and disgusted.

I can begin again by first telling my self and believing that I can begin again because with God all things are possible.(Mat 19:26)

Although these tragic events may have happened to me, one thing for sure, I cannot change what has already happened and Jesus the Christ can not change the hope he has given us through his blood shed, that has already happened to him, for us, on the cross, because Isaiah 53:4-5 says, surely, he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our inquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

We all have our own cross to carry in this life, no doubt about that. The book of Job declares a man born of a women are of a few days and those few days are full of troule. But the Good News is, we do not have to carry those open wounds of grief and sorrows that never seem to heal and that hinder us in becoming the "Victorious Women of God" he has purposed us to be.

How? It was God's love and forgiveness for man kind that carried his son Jesus the Christ to the cross, and it was His love and forgiveness that raised Jesus the Christ up again. Therefore, I can begin again and I can rise above my situation through the love of God and forgiving my offenders.

Let me say this my sisters, emotional healing is a process, that does not happen overnight. If you are feeling hopeless and feel like there's no way of escape, know that help is available for you. You must first recognize and then accept you need help and then seek help.

I know for me when I was going through some tough situations in my life I would say, oh I'll just pray on it. While this is what we are suppose to do, cast out cares on the Lord, but when I prayed I wasn't really listening for any directions and/or instructions from God, nor was I praying his word (scriptues on that particular situation), I was busy telling God what I wanted him to do and how I wanted him to deliver me. Sound familiar?

Sometimes, my sisters we can be so overwhelmed with a situation to even hear God, and honestly speaking, to even pray. That is why it is so important to have fellowship amongst the saints. I don't mean to just tell everything to everybody, that's not what I'm saying. Take this forum for instance, it is a very good medium to meet new Christians, fellowship, express your thoughts and feelings and ask for advice, but you know, their are just somethings you just can't talk to everybody about. It is in those difficult situations God will guide you to certain individuals and/or resources for help.

My sisters never feel ashame in any situation you may be going through or feel that you are all alone. As the bible records, there are Christians all over the world who are going through the same thing that you are. We don't know most of the time because we try to hide what we are going through or been through and never experience true deliverence and miss our opportunity to help someone else.

Be strong my sisters in the Lord and in the power of his might. Never be ashame to ask for help. You can begin again!

Your Sister in Christ,
Grace and Mercy
